About this deal

Finally, the Salamanders Warforged Strike Force is great for fans of infantry assaults – not to mention flamers and meltas – with 20 Intercessors, three Eradicators, three Aggressors, and Adrax Agatone to oversee them all.

The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour, five Heavy Intercessors, and 10 Assault Intercessors. As we said, this has a bit of a random assortment of models, but the value is definitely there! This actually rivals some of the better boxes from Christmas, so if you need all the models inside, this is totally worth grabbing, as you basically get two boxes of Possessed for free! It also contains the new Daemon Prince, which is quite pricey to grab on its own, so that’s very nice. To make sure you don’t miss a single piece of what’s coming this year – and it’s a LOT – sign up to the Warhammer newsletter for regular updates direct to your inbox. Each of these Battleforce sets will give you a strong start to a Space Marines army, tailored to the way you want to play. From the grim darkness of the far future, to the equally grim darkness of the slightly nearer future, there are more Warhammer: The Horus Heresy torsos and shoulder pads coming for Loyalists and Traitors alike. Jakhals are brutal human cultists pumped with combat stims and eight drops of the warp-infused blood of true World Eaters, turning them into furious melee machines with no regard for their own lives. They’re effective fighters in their own right, and throw themselves into enemy guns for a chance to please their murderous god. World Eaters Datacards and Dice Set

What do you think of the savings and value in these two Boarding Patrol and the Warhammer 40k Arks of Omen Battleforce box sets? As well as these smaller sets that have been designed for Boarding Actions, there is also a new Chaos Battleforce that has been themed around the new unfolding narrative. Launch your own Balefleet in games of Warhammer 40,000 with this boxed set containing 17 plastic Citadel miniatures, led by a fearsome Daemon Prince. Alongside him are a massive Heldrake, a squad of elite Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and two units of mutated Possessed. This force makes a fantastic core around which to build your Chaos Space Marines army, or a powerful addition to an existing force. Flood the battlefield with Khorne Berzerkers, the raging foot soldiers of the World Eaters legion. This unit of 10 Berzerkers is a close combat powerhouse, the perfect core for any World Eaters army. Jakhals A heady mix of daemonic power and debased Astartes ceramite, this Battleforce is the ideal way to throw in your lot with the Warmaster and start scouring the galaxy for the keys to victory.

New Arks of Omen Box Sets Revealed By GW

Mortis , by Horus Heresy veteran John French, sees Titans and their crews step to the forefront of the story, as the Traitor forces continue to break through the Imperial Palace defences and close in on the beleaguered Loyalists. Warhammer Day Reveals – What Are the Arks of Omen? (Posted on 08/10/2022) (Last accessed on 8 October 2022) The map is a large-scale reproduction of the one found in the book, measuring 596mm x 420mm, and printed on cotton. It comes in a faux-leather wrap to keep it safe and let you roll it out dramatically, like one of Rogal Dorn’s sub-commanders pointing out weak spots in the defences. It’s secured with a leather cord and a metal pendant featuring the sigil of the Titan Legions. While Angron’s hordes sweep across the galaxy, the rest of the traitor Astartes aren’t just sitting around, and the Balefleets continue their search for Abaddon’s mysterious relics. This powerful elite force comprises 10 Possessed, five Chaos Terminators, a Heldrake, and the new Daemon Prince, all fully capable of slaughtering entire units of enemy warriors. Boarding Patrol: Space Marines Personally, if I was committed to using the Balefleet box, I’d go with a Land Raider and more Chaos Terminators. It’s a lot of points but you can really make them the utility unit you’ll need to do stuff. I’d probably still keep the Boarding Action box because I like Abaddon in this list and the extra bodies are good for objective holding. That means I would want to find a way to max out the Chaos Space Marine Legionaries just to have a unit of 10. The List

This has a lot of value compared with the Space Marines box. However, you get the majority of it in Cultists and Abaddon, so if you don’t want either, then this is not worth it. This is a great value for those who need both cultists and Abaddon. If you want to muster a fresh army to take advantage of the Arks of Omen Detachment, there are also four new Adeptus Astartes Battleforces* that’ll give you a great starting point – or help you expand on your army with loads of models and Chapter-themed upgrades. Meanwhile, here at Warhammer Community we’ll have more from Codex: World Eaters , the next video in our 40 Years of Warhammer series, and plenty more. First up is the start of the latest narrative ark… we mean arc… that will shape the future of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Arks of Omen is here, in the form of book one in the series: Abaddon . As well as spinning an epic yarn, Arks of Omen: Abaddon lets you take part in the saga of the Balefleets by introducing rules and missions for Boarding Actions – a whole new way to play Warhammer 40,000, offering fast-paced games set within the confines of voidcraft, space hulks, and orbital stations.

Battlefields in the grim darkness of the far future are shifting as Vashtorr the Arkifane and Abaddon unleash the calamitous Arks of Omen and set intricate plans in motion. Alongside plenty of new lore advancing the storyline, this book contains further rules for the Boarding Actions, including unique upgrades for Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, World Eaters, Grey Knights, Astra Militarum, and Orks Boarding Patrols. If you just bought those three boxes you’d actually have a pretty good mix of Chaos units. Points-wise you’re looking at 745 + 630 + 505 + wargear for a point total of 1880. Now, you’re light on vehicles and have a whole lot of footsloggers so consider yourself warned. Rhinos are 80 points each while a Land Raider is 265. You could make some cuts but if you don’t you’re still looking at a very basic “meat-and-potatoes” chaos list. Would this be very competitive? Honestly — not in the current meta. It’s going to struggle with some of the heavy hitters out there.

Necrons – Eradication Legion

Although the Alpha Legion prefers subtlety, they occasionally take to the field in the full panoply of their Legion. Upgrade your Cataphractii Terminators with detailed shoulder pads, then add some flair to your line troops with MkIII Shoulder Pads and MkIV Torsos. A Balefleet is a warband of Chaos Space Marines that has been sent forth by Abaddon and Vashtorr to find the different McGuffins that they need for their rituals. You don't get either of the head honchos in this set but you do get ten Possessed, five Chaos Space Marine Terminators, a Heldrake and then a dark and twisted Daemon Prince. In the brand new Boarding Actions format, compact armies battle through cramped corridors and treacherous corners. New and upcoming Boarding Patrol boxes give you a diverse selection of models to form effective and characterful armies.
