I love the spicyness of each book, and I just love the little moments of each book as well. I loved Alex and Ava’s relationship. It was so fun to see Alex slowly fall in love with Ava throughout the book. The groveling was the perfect amount. Everything was just 🤌 chef’s kiss. May have been the shortest book in the series, but it was a good one. And as she navigates the intricacies - and treacheries - of her new role, she must also hide her desire for her bodyguard – a man she can't have… I can’t imagine a better duo than a lawyer and a doctor. It’s awesome. They just are there to talk with each other like in the library with Tanya’s death, or at the Picnic trying to get Josh to finally move on with Alex, also when Josh finally went to go see his father and Jules was there for him. That’s all the matters just being there for someone and I think that’s what makes them so good together. And the chemistry between them is fantastic. Anyways I love Josh and Jules 🤍Bridget is my favorite from the friend group I think. And I definitely liked this book wayyyy more than i liked the first one, twisted love. Ava thinks Alex is an emotionless robot so Ava and her friends decide to put that theory to the test. This leads to them spending loads of time together but Ava is haunted by memories she can’t clearly remember and Alex has his own demons to fight.

rhys talks dirty. other than that there’s nothing else about him that was appealing. tattooed and scarred. muscled. NEXT! Another thing I loved about the series is how connected each of the books were and how you got to see the characters in previous books grow and develop as well. It was so much fun seeing this mismatched group of people go from college friends to adults managing their success and families. The highlight was absolutely reading about Alex with his children - My heart MELTED!But when her brother abdicates, she’s suddenly faced with the prospect of a loveless, politically expedient marriage and a throne she never wanted. Despite her freedom, she still needs to have a bodyguard around her 24/7 and turns out her bodyguard who has protected her for so long needs to go on maternity leave. This is Bridget and Rhys’s love story and they are so swoon worthy. Bridget is kind, smart and is the beautiful princess of Eldorra. Rhys is hot, possessive, protective and her bodyguard. Rhys refuses to ever get involved with his clients but he can’t seem to stay away from her. Bridget’s brother has abdicated the crown for love so she must prepare to be queen while hiding her forbidden romance with Rhys. Their pining, passion, chemistry and secret touches were chefs kiss 💋🔥❤️!! Secrets and lies complicate their love, and when the truth finally comes out, it has the power to destroy everything. Can The Twisted Books Be Read As Standalones? Same with the 2nd book, it was kind of fast, I feel like people say its a slow-burn cuz its like over a couple of years but I wish instead of all the time jumps, we could see more of the anticipation, the angst and the tension building I feel like that would've made it much better. I didn't really like Rhys that much tbh like he was kind of boring, but like when he was with Bridget he was very whipped. They had a lot of cute moments together tho which I rlly liked and I loved how Bridget proves the sexist parliament guy wrong. Once again the smut in this series was kind of weird like one of the things Rhys says is "Remember in public you're my princess but in private you're my whore" and I just don't get why the guy's in this series gotta call the fmcs "thier" sluts or whores just whyyy, but other than that I liked the book I'm just not that big of a smut reader. Same the other way around!! Bridget feeling so at ease with him and actually being able to lean on someone and getting supported by Rhys… It was just so endearing to see them both act so sweetly with each other! No (pure) romance book couple has ever lived up to their love (if you ask me)!!!!!

Anyways Alex is my 3rd favorite man I love them all but Christian is more in his emotions than him and Rhys deserves the world. Don’t get me wrong tho Alex and Ava are definitely one of my favorite couples they just compliment each other in a way. This book is my 3rd favorite in the series even tho I love them all. Alex and Ava hold a special place in my heart 🤍 Book Two of the interconnected-standalone Twisted series by TikTok sensation, Ana Huang. A contemporary, forbidden romance between a princess and her bodyguard… The politics was also ridiculous but didn't bother me too much. I'm not a fan of politics in general and if I were, I wouldn't be reading Twisted Games, I would read a book on the royal family or whatever. Yeah... She is the object of his darkest desires and remains an enigma he can’t figure out. When the opportunity arises for him to get closer to her, he breaks his rules and offers her a deal that she cannot refuse. Every monster has a weakness, and she is his. She becomes his obsession, his addiction, and the one person he makes an exception. I also love how at the end they actually talked about not getting married yet because they want to work on building their careers and even tho they seem like the most immature couple that makes them the most mature couple. Putting their careers first especially when they’ve worked so hard to get to where they are. And their careers are a little more difficult and time consuming than others.
