These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community. There were life-like, several species of animatronic dinosaurs which look almost real (my son actually asked me if they were) as they moved and roared. This demonstration usually takes place mid day and is dependant on weather – please check our talks board at the main entrance on arrival. We took a pack up with us as we had read that food is not cheap in the zoo and we discovered there are many well laid out areas to picnic, with picnic benches and tables provided.

As a Mum to two fabulous children under the age of 5, I am always looking for places where we can play, be challenged and have fun. I can jabber for England and can be lured anywhere with something pink and sparkly or anything that smells nice. But to get the really big points, create chain-reaction munches that send the animals into a frenzy! Opening on Saturday, April 5, just in time for the Easter holidays, Hullabazoo Farm is an interactive, up-close adventure, where little ones will be able to meet and greet a whole host of farmyard friends. Every one thought chuckled when Ay loudly exclaimed “OMG This is the biggest Chameleon I have ever seen :D.We have a huge array of sensory and physical play to delight children, including - for the first time - both water and sand play.

There were lots of staff around to answer questions and comment on the animals and they all seemed very knowledgeable. The best of the best for me personally was seeing the elephants and the baby elephant, shielded by mum and the rest of the group. Which was half an hour away, we asked if we could join the previous session as we had been told earlier we could come back at anytime and so felt I had been messed around abit, she was very rude and blunt and simply said 'no you have to wait till 12.The crocodiles are watching the whole scene with great interest, and they conspire to use this method to get themselves out of the pen. It is fast-paced, energetic and full of descriptive words that will have children right there with little Lochlan.

The park is divided into three main areas: Europe, Asia and Africa ( MAP HERE) and as we walked from one area to another, we talked about what animals to expect in each area (I had my home educating cap on ;). Used books have different signs of use and might not include supplemental materials such as CDs, Dvds, Access Codes, charts or any other extra material.As we approached the Hullabazoo area, which is just behind the Sea Lion enclosure, I was pleased to see some really lovely wooden towers and structures making up the play space. There are regular shows/talks throughout the day in various sections and we would recommend going to these if possible as they are both entertaining and insightful.
