About this deal

As you can see, while the droid’s hips have a good deal of articulation thanks to those new rotation joints, the knees and ankles are locked down for stability, limiting the final model’s articulation. With a small dedicated team of LEGO fans serving your needs, we're sure you wont find a better or more friendly service anywhere else online. Clear Perspex® assembled with screws and metal connector cubes, allowing you to easily secure the case together.

A great display piece with information plaque, complete with a clip to attach the small droid figureSet includes printed building instructions. This fantastic piece of Star Wars memorabilia also includes a compartment for stim canister elements and a small BD-1 LEGO figure. While the lacking articulation is no fun and the stim canister implementation is rather poor in my books, I'm happy to overlook these since I'm not looking to display BD-1 in too outlandish a pose anyway. Parts of interest in this set include several pre-existing parts available in white for the first time.

I would recommend it 10/10 for either a gift or even having it for yourself if you’re a star wars fan! This makes it easy to set up and take down, while still providing protection for your LEGO® set from dust and other environmental factors. I'm not familiar with the source material, but that didn't stop me from getting BB-8 and D-O either. Create the perfect setting for your favourite LEGO® droid by showcasing him in front of our unique background, designed in house here at Wicked Brick. This is our first set based on the video game, the sequel to which is rumoured to arrive in 2023, and follows the format established by the likes of 75187 BB-8, 75278 D-O and – most recently – 75308 R2-D2.

If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. But this is the first time we've received a large scale display piece as our only set to represent a game. We're currently in the process of updating our photography to include the set, but we can assure you that it will fit perfectly in the display case and will feature all minifigures if the set has them. We can see from the beginning of the instructions that the model is built in 2 main parts, the body and then the head. Information plaques accompany each large-scale droids, formed using stickers on 8x16 tiles with studs. The build begins unsurprisingly with a number of Technic pieces constructing the droid’s center mass and neck area. BD-1 measures 28cm in height and therefore approaches life-size, unlike the various droids produced previously.

The black grill if I remember rightly was for the slicing upgrade that let him hack droids when they got low health. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, DUPLO, the FRIENDS logo, the MINIFIGURES logo, DREAMZzz, NINJAGO, VIDIYO and MINDSTORMS are trademarks of the LEGO Group. This Star Wars collectible set is one of a series of buildable droid display models that look great on display as a room decor piece. There’s plenty of tech greebling on all sides of the model, and even the back of his head includes a light display that keeps him visually interesting from all angles. An information sign and a Star Wars BD-1 LEGO figure that can be attached next to the sign is also included to complete a charming centrepiece. As normal, the minifigure-scale droid is displayed beside the plaque, although the actual plaque is decidedly abnormal because much of the information has not been published before, including BD-1's manufacturer and exact size!

Additionally, the hip joints are quite versatile and the rear section of each footpad is hinged, stabilising the whole droid. The colourful logic display on the back of BD-1's head is another recognisable feature, making appropriate use of 1x1 round tiles.BD-1’s asymmetric eyes and dual antenna give him plenty of personality, but the model is hindered by the fact that those eyes can’t be pointed in enough directions, thanks to the lack of any neck swivel option. Haven't played the game but have seen screenshots, and like that this set seems close to life-size (would be fun to have it sit on your shoulder at a convention or something). An information sign and a Star Wars BD-1 LEGO® figure that can be attached next to the sign is also included to complete a charming centrepiece. More to sit alongside the larger droid, reusing the mold from June’s 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter.
