About this deal
There is a reason why so many primary school teachers use our puppets and toys in the classroom; supporting diverse learning styles, encouraging social interaction, and fostering emotional development. First of all, decide what nursery rhymes you would like to include in this sack and start collecting resources for these. We loved the song bag ,my grandson with Downs Syndrome and his brother listened to all the songs and joined in the ones they knew.
By incorporating these tools into their teaching strategies, you can create more inclusive and supportive learning environments that cater to the unique needs of all students. Thanks for the list too, there are a couple of songs I’m a bit rusty on there, but will have to refresh my memory! Children will also love touching and feeling the soft, felt peices that accompany each Nursery Rhyme from the Number Rhyme Bag. And, because the same songs are being repeated at each session, the children learn them and start to join in very quickly.Print off some leaves and caterpillars pictures laminated them and if you have an enough for each child let them use these props during the nursery rhyme song. This is a lovely hands-on, engaging activity for young children to learn more about sound-making and rhythm.
For the leader, you can also only put in the bag the songs you are confident leading to avoid working out a song as you go. We have lots of activities like this nursery rhythm and rhyme busy bag for EYFS children to have fun with and enjoy. By engaging with songs within this pack, young children can begin to experiment with vocabulary variations. Simply repeat this as many times as you like or only put a set amount of objects in the bag for the time you have available, this way there is a clear endpoint when there is nothing left in the bag! Once they’re confident with the process, you can start to swap new items in to keep the song session fresh. She / he learns new words and begin to perceive rhyme and rhythm, which stimulates your child’s phonological awareness. Why not create a scene in a small tray with a hill and let the children re-enact act the nursery rhyme as you sing.
Then at each verse, you choose an item out of the song sack to tell everyone what verse to sing next. I recommend arriving with the same 15 items for a few sessions, so that the children learn how it works.
This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. A canvas bag containing beautifully illustrated wooden tiles, each depicting a well known song or rhyme. Fantastic for early language development and creativity for the very smallest children and a great activity for children learning English as an additional language too.
