The Way of the Sniper is, well, a sniper: you sacrifice speed in favor of packing as much damage as possible into each shot and also get some stealth benefits. Very disappointed with the absence of support for much of my pf1 gunslinger weapons; this has created extremely problematic continuity issues in two of my campaigns—both currently put on hiatus due to player disappointment. Of course, they’re going to have some tech that duplicates the function of magic items, but they also have gadgets – single-use items that fill a similar role to consumables.Other interesting Archetypes include the Trick Driver and Vehicle Mechanic, the implementation of which requires the implementation of vehicles to your campaign, a prospect which is disruptive enough that it merits not one but TWO sidebars. It’s exactly what it sounds like – a character who specializes in firearms (which includes crossbows).
