Now, it would be fitting for a smartphone with a price like the 530 to top out at lower 3G speeds. This one, however, supports HSPA+, which is branded "4G" in some markets, and is simply known as a faster form of 3G in others. Regardless, this designation doesn't get you a ton of megabits per second (Mbps) downlink or uplink, but it does mean that the phone is outfitted for faster data transfer than your typical 3G. As always, it's your network strength determines whether you actually see the speedier end of the range or not. The Lumia 530 display offers 245ppi, which isn’t too far removed from the 256ppi of the (admittedly much better) Motorola Moto E. As long as you don’t look too close, the pixels don’t scream at you like babies crying on a long-distance flight. Battery The batteries of mobile devices differ in capacity and technology. They provide the electrical charge needed for the functioning of the devices. Capacity The L2 (level 2) cache memory is slower than L1, but has a larger capacity, instead, which allows it to cache more data. Just like L1, it is much faster than the system memory (RAM). It’s a small, fairly low-res display. However, much like the Lumia 520, as the screen is quite small the pixellating effects of the resolution aren’t terrible. stand-by time is the longest time a battery charge will last, if the device is not used but is constantly connected to the 2G cellular network. Of course, that only affects the sorts of things when resolution doesn’t matter hugely. We still found browsing the web a bit of challenge. Reading articles through the combo of low resolution and small display size isn’t a great deal of fun. This sort of limitation applies to gaming too.
